The Ibsen Monument is a memorial to the playwright and poet Henrik Ibsen (1828–1906) in the Norwegian city ​​of Bergen .

It is located in downtown Bergen at the western end of Ole Bulls plass , east of the Bergen National Theater in Teaterparken .

The memorial was created by Nils Aas in 1981 and was a gift from A / S Bergens Teater and Det Dramatiske Selskabs in 1976 on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the theater. It was made from granite and depicts Ibsen as a sculpture. The sculpture stands on a stone base. A plaque with the inscription HENRIK IBSEN is worked into the front of the base .
