"... I kill myself every time anew, but I am immortal and I rise again: in a vision of doom ..." is a collection of demo recordings by Sopor Aeternus released as an album under the Apocalyptic Vision label .
Album information
The first edition was limited to 1000 pieces and there was also a numbered poetry poster and a photo of Anna-Varney. It bears the dedication of a tombstone inscription in Rome in the original and the republication:
"Rogo te hospes noli ossa mea violare"
"I ask you, guest, not to desecrate my bones"
In 1999 the album was re-released with seven more songs, a text booklet and a remastering. The album Es reiten die Toten so Schnell - or: The Vampyre Sucking at His Own Vein was developed from the bonus songs . In 2004 there was an extended artwork and booklet.
The song Do you know my name? (Falling… - reprise) under the name Do you know my name? / What has happened while we slept? newly recorded for Flowers in Formaldehyde EP. There are several versions of the song Birth - Fiendish Figuration .
