Identification of medicinal products ( English : Identification of medicinal products, abbreviated IDMP ) is the name of a group of standards of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) in the field of medical computer science. The standards define data elements, structures and relationships between data elements for the exchange of information or for the identification of drugs . This is important for pharmacovigilance , regulatory and other drug related activities.
