Igor Jedlin ( Russian Игорь Едлин ; born May 3, 1933 in Moscow ) is a Russian-German magician.

Life

Jedlin grew up in Moscow. He cited the visit to a small traveling circus with his father at the age of 4 as a trigger for his interest in magic.

After graduating from high school, he attended the Moscow Academy of Circus Arts and four years later was accepted into the ensemble of the Moscow State Circus , of which he was a member for 13 years.

Jedlin was married.

Berlin

Magic Theater Igor Jedlin in Roscherstrasse in Berlin-Charlottenburg

In 1978 he founded a magic theater near Berlin's Kurfürstendamm . First he performed in the Kudamm-Karree , in 1990 he opened what he called “Europe's only permanent magic theater” in Roscherstraße 7 with 93 seats, a former car repair shop. On November 24, 2003 the magic theater Igor Jedlin celebrates its 25th anniversary.
