Ilheu Bom Bom is an island in the Gulf of Guinea . It is located 70 meters off the north coast of Príncipe , one of the two main islands of the island state of São Tomé and Príncipe , connected by a footbridge . One of the few tourist resorts in the country is located on it. The island is of volcanic origin and has no permanent residents.
The island reaches a height of 59 meters.
