Iliana Naidenova Ivanova ( Bulgarian Илиана Найденова Иванова ; born September 14, 1975 in Stara Sagora ) is a Bulgarian politician and business economist. She is currently a member of the European Court of Auditors .

Iliana Iwanowa finished her education in her hometown at the foreign language high school "Romain Rolland", where she studied French and English. In 1998 she completed the Bachelor's degree in International Economic Relations at the University of Economics in Varna . In 2004 Iliana Iwanowa defended her master's thesis in international finance at the Thunderbird School of Global Management in Arizona , USA .

She has gained a wide range of expertise while working at American financial and banking institutions. Before that, Iliana Ivanova worked as a coordinator for international financial institutions in the Bulgarian Ministry of Agriculture and Food.

Iliana Ivanova was a member of the municipal council of the GERB party list in the municipality of Sofia (mandate 2007-2011). She was a member of the European Parliament from 2009 to 2012 . During her mandate in the European Parliament, she was Vice-Chair of the Committee on Budgetary Control, Vice-Chair of the Special Committee on the Economic, Financial and Social Crisis, Vice-Chair of the European Parliament Delegation for Relations with the People's Republic of China, Member of the Committee on the Internal Market and Consumer Protection, Deputy member of the Economic and Monetary Committee.

Since January 1, 2013, she has been a member of the European Court of Auditors in Luxembourg .

On September 21, 2016 she was elected as doyen of Chamber II, responsible for examining structural policies, transport and energy spending. She speaks Bulgarian, English, French, German and Russian.
