Iljana Marzok

Iljana Marzok (born July 30, 1986 in Berlin ) is a German judoka who competes in the weight class up to 70 kg.

Career

Marzok was German junior champion in 2005 and German student champion in 2007. In 2009 she finished third at the World Cup tournaments in Lisbon and Birmingham. In 2010 she won the World Cup tournament in Warsaw and finished second in Sao Paulo and third in Sofia. At the team world championships in Antalya she came with the German team in second place behind the Dutch women. In 2011 she also reached second place at the European Team Championships in Istanbul, this time the French were ahead of the German team. In the summer of 2011, Iljana Marzok took third place at the European Cup in Hamburg, and in October she came second at the World Cup in Minsk.

Iljana Marzok started her career at SSV Rotation Berlin and has been working for Sportclub Berlin since 1997. In the Judo Bundesliga she played for SC Berlin until 2007 , after which she was active for PSV Rostock (2008), FT Neumünster (2009 and 2010) and Kim-Chi Wiesbaden (2012).
