Ille Gebeshuber

Ille Gebeshuber (born April 10, 1969 in Bruck an der Mur ) (actually Ilse Christine Gebeshuber) is an Austrian physicist who specializes in nanophysics and biomimetics .

Life

She attended the Bundesgymnasium in Kapfenberg and graduated in 1987. She then completed a degree in technical physics at the Vienna University of Technology . In 2008 he completed his habilitation in experimental physics (habilitation thesis: Nanoscience on Surfaces ). From the beginning of 2009 to 2015 Ille Gebeshuber was Professor at the Institute of Microengineering and Nanoelectronics (IMEN) of the National University of Malaysia ; since 2016 she has been a professor at the Institute for Applied Physics (IAP) at the Vienna University of Technology.

In 2017 she was named Austrian of the Year in the Research category. In 2018 she got the look! Business Award in the Mint Industries area .
