Illinois Central Electric Railway

The Illinois Central Electric Railway (ICE) was an interurban railway in Fulton County in western Illinois , west of the city of Peoria .

The railway company was founded on October 9, 1903. The route ran from Lewistown north to Farmington and had a branch from Norris to Fairview . The track was opened as follows:

The railway lost the competition against the road and was shut down and dismantled on July 25, 1928.
