The illustrated laundry newspaper was an Austrian monthly newspaper with a focus on clothing that was published in Vienna and Berlin between 1891 and 1928 . The title addition of the newspaper reads Edition for Austria-Hungary: Usage sheet with cut sheet . Each title page is individually designed and shows different self-made clothes for each issue. The main idea behind the paper was to make it easy for readers to learn how to make fashionable clothes themselves.

The illustrated laundry newspaper appeared in what was then Austria-Hungary , but is written entirely in German. From 1927, the Austrian Wäscher- und Wäscherputzer-Zeitung appeared monthly , which is the successor to the illustrated laundry newspaper . However, this was also discontinued in 1935.
