Ilse Charlotte Noack (born June 11, 1886 in Stettin ; † after 1932) was a German writer and politician ( DNVP ).

Life

Ilse Noack was born into a family of civil servants as the daughter of an accountant. After attending secondary school for girls, she completed the teachers' seminar and passed the public school service exam in April 1905. She trained on the stage, attended lectures at the Sorbonne in 1909 and undertook further study trips to Romance countries and England. In April 1914 she became a primary school teacher at a municipal school in Szczecin.

Noack became politically active from December 1918. She joined the German National People's Party (DNVP) and was chairwoman of the German Evangelical Women's Association in Stettin. In 1921 she was elected as a member of the Prussian state parliament, to which she belonged until 1932. In addition, she worked as a writer and wrote novels.
