Iltuzar

Iltuzar († 1806 ) was Khan of the Khiva Khanate . During his reign from 1804 to 1806, the Konya Ark citadel in the old town of Chiwas Ichan Qalʼа, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, was rebuilt. The Konya Ark fortress had already been largely destroyed or damaged during a Persian invasion in the middle of the 18th century . Iltuzar had the Kurnysh Khane , the reception area with courtyard, renovated as a multi-room palace .
