Image SXM is analysis software for raw data from many atomic force and scanning tunneling microscopes by Steve Barrett from the University of Liverpool for Apple operating systems. It is based on the public domain, open source image analysis software NIH Image (forerunner of ImageJ ), which has been developed in Pascal since the early 1990s , but is itself distributed as freeware without the source code being available.
