Imaginarium SA is an internationally operating group of companies in the field of children's toys, children's furniture, and child care products. The company was founded in 1992 and is based in Zaragoza , Spain . Imaginarium Deutschland GmbH was responsible for sales in Germany from 2009 until bankruptcy in 2015.

Sales development and total assets
The focus of sales has so far been on the southern European countries and Latin America . In 2012, global sales of around 153 million euros were achieved; an increase of 11 percent compared to 2011. The majority of the sales (approx. 87 million euros) came from the euro crisis countries Spain , Portugal , Greece and Ireland . Spain alone covers half of all sales and comprises 47 percent of the branches. The difficult economic situation in the euro crisis countries has led to a significant decline in sales in the respective regions. Sales fell by 7 percent compared to the previous year. In contrast, business in Eastern Europe developed positively. Here Russia is at the center of the expansion course. With sales of around three million euros in 2012, the German share (2.1 percent) of total sales was low, but grew by 23 percent compared to 2011. The company's balance sheet total at the end of 2012 was around 72 million euros after around 65 Million euros in the previous year.
Product range
The target group are mainly babies, toddlers and children before they reach adolescence. In addition to age-appropriate toys, games, handicrafts and painting materials, bicycles, tricycles and other devices are also on offer. Books and music, as well as the associated playback media, are also offered. Another focus is on children's furniture and various items of equipment for children's rooms. In addition to typical baby toys, baby room furnishings and baby care products are offered for babies.
