Imane Khalifeh (* 1955 ; † 1995 ) was a Lebanese peace activist.

Imane Khalifeh lived in Beirut during the civil war . In April 1984, she developed the idea of a peace march through which the silent majority of the Lebanese people would express their protest and their opposition to the civil war that was being forced upon them. Most of the Beirut daily newspapers printed the verses with which she called for this action. The peace march was then not implemented for security reasons, but this initiative nevertheless initiated a political detente in Lebanon.
