Imeleta Olive Mata'utia (born March 2, 2000 in Pago Pago ) is an American-Samoan beach handball player .
Imeleta Mata'utia starts for the Pago Pago HC . The central defensive player belongs to the founding generation of handball, especially beach handball, in American Samoa. She was part of the squad of her association that won the title at the U-17 Oceania Beach Handball Championships against the favored Australian team and thus qualified for the 2018 Summer Youth Olympic Games . Her performance on the defensive was emphasized positively; also because of this performance her teammate Stephanie Floor could become the most successful and best player of the tournament. Also in Buenos Aires Mata'utia was part of the squad, which finished eleventh. With five time penalties, two of them in one game, which led to an automatic game exclusion, and the only expulsion from the girls' tournament, Mata'utia was the toughest player in the tournament.
