Real Estate Austrian Traded Index
The Real Estate Austrian Traded Index ( IATX ) is a share index of the Vienna Stock Exchange .
The IATX was developed by the Vienna Stock Exchange and is continuously calculated and published on days with stock exchange trading . The index contains the shares of the 8 (as of November 26, 2008 ) most important real estate companies in Austria . They are the shares of the most important real estate securities listed on the Vienna Stock Exchange. Due to the steady performance and a significantly lower volatility of real estate securities, these companies cannot be compared with others included in the ATX and form their own index.
The IATX started on January 2, 1996 with a starting capital of ATS 754,989,663.26 ( EUR 54,867,238.60 ) at 155.47 points.
