Impulse (didactics)

In didactics, impulse stands for a teaching grip . It is an "umbrella term for all intended, lesson-related expressions of behavior by teachers or learners that are intended to trigger a specific learning behavior". "One can differentiate between main and leading impulses from secondary or auxiliary impulses, as well as written from verbal", gestural and facial forms. The intensity can range from a single gesture (e.g. silent impulse) to a presentation ( impulse presentation ), including targeted media.
