Imre Bereknyei

Imre Bereknyei (born May 9, 1955 in Budapest ) is a Hungarian badminton player who later worked in Canada.

Career

Imre Bereknyei was successful in Hungary five times at the junior championships before he was able to prevail for the first time in 1976 in the adults. From 1977 to 1979 he won four more titles at the individual championships. Later in his career he moved to Canada, where he was successful at the Canadian Masters and the Boston Masters, among others.
