Imre Vallyon
Imre George Vallyon (* 1940 ) is a New Zealand- based writer of spiritual literature and spiritual teacher. He is the founder of the " Foundation for Higher Learning ", an international spiritual school. It has existed for over 30 years and has the task of giving mankind the opportunity to develop spiritually in group work. Vallyon is also the director of Sounding-Light Publishing, which was founded in 2006 to "produce high-quality books and media for those who feel the attraction of universal wisdom and interdisciplinary knowledge."
Vallyon is a full member of the New Zealand Association of Authors. (New Zealand Society of Authors)
biography
Imre Vallyon was born in Budapest, Hungary, in 1940 and emigrated to New Zealand as a refugee at the age of sixteen. Since 1980 he has devoted himself to teaching spiritual science through extensive writings, workshops and retreats around the world. His teaching includes mantra yoga, Kabbalah , mystical content, tantra, etc. and has great overlaps with the theosophy according to Helena Blavatsky , Annie Besant and Charles W. Leadbeater . Since he started teaching, he has published several hundred meditation techniques. In 1982 he founded the Foundation for Higher Learning (FHL), a spiritual school. The former aims to give people of all origins the opportunity to work spiritually in a group structure. His approach differs from traditional teachers of spirituality insofar as they used a more restrictive approach to meditation techniques and spiritual knowledge.
In 2008 he won the Ashton Wylie Charitable Trust Book Award for the four-volume treatise "Heavens and Hells of the Mind". The work was described by the jurors as "a remarkable and exhaustive piece of work on human consciousness and the wisdom of the ages". The “Charitable Trust Book Award is one of New Zealand's greatest literary prizes” and is presented by the Ashton Wylie Charitable Trust in collaboration with the New Zealand Society of Authors for “Excellence in the genre of Mind, Body and Spirit” .
To date (2015) over four thousand of his lectures have been recorded and are available in audio, video and book form. Its subject matter is spiritually pragmatic and aimed at helping humanity to recognize their inner nature by providing effective meditation techniques and sound knowledge.
