Inés Efron
Inés Efron (* 1985 ) is an Argentine actress . Her breakthrough came with the film XXY by Lucía Puenzo , which gives an intersex plays teenager. Her character is a 15 year old named Alex who is trying to figure out who she is. Efron said of her role, "I really liked this character and thought, you can do that. I felt a real connection."
For her portrayal, Efron won the Cartagena Film Festival's Best Actress Award, as well as three other awards. In the film Glue , she played one of three teenagers in a small town in Patagonia . In the 2009 film Das Fischkind she played the lead role, again directed by Lucía Puenzo.
