Incursion Dementa is a Dutch thrash metal band that was founded in 1987 in St. Annaparochie , Friesland . The band was named after a song by Nasty Savage called Incursion Dementia . However, the I was lost over time.
history
The band was founded in 1987 by guitarist Benny Meerstra and bassist Radboud Burgsma. Drummer Douwe Leeuwen and guitarist Sjoerd van Slooten joined the band a short time later. Singer Benny van der Wall remained a permanent member of the band after a few rehearsals. The first demo We're Just Us was released in 1988. The second demo, Ever Never , was released in 1991, the debut album All This is ... in 1993. As a result, the band held many gigs inside and outside the Netherlands. The band split up in the mid-1990s and only performed occasionally. In 2008 the band held regular concerts again. In the same year the band released the compilation A Long Lane That Has No Turning on Marista Records .
style
The band plays classic Thrash Metal, the speed of the songs is mostly kept high and the electric guitars have an aggressive sound.
