AMPERS

AMPERS (Association of Minnesota Public Educational Radio Stations) is a public media network based in Saint Paul, Minnesota . It is the second largest public radio organization in the state after Minnesota Public Radio (MPR).

The network was founded in 1972. From 2004 to 2012 the organization was called Independent Public Radio (IPR). The organization of its member stations to coordinate their fundraising and to swap program parts. With twelve of 18 stations, the majority are college stations.
