Index Islamicus
The Index Islamicus is the international specialist bibliography on Islamic studies in European languages. Registered visitors can access the index as a bibliographic database on the university network.
All areas of Islamic culture and society are covered, primarily in Africa and Asia, but also worldwide. One focus is the subjects history, politics, law and economics. More than 3,000 journals are evaluated for this database, together with conference reports, monographs, works by groups of authors and book reviews. Magazines and books are included in the index at article and chapter level.
