Indexi was a Yugoslav rock band formed in Sarajevo in 1962 .

Initially, the Indexi played instrumental cover versions of western music, but began to compose their own pieces in 1967. Between 1964 and 1981 they made numerous records, after which only a few appearances followed.

One of her best-known pieces is Bacila je sve niz rijeku (She threw everything into the river), which has been covered by numerous other Yugoslav bands (e.g. Crvena Jabuka ).

Members of the band were:

  • Davorin Popović (1946–2001), singer
  • Slobodan A. Kovačević, guitar
  • Fadil Redžić, bass

as well as changing drummers (e.g. around 1974/75: Milić Vukašinović , * 1950) and keyboardist (e.g. around 1964–1968: Kornelije Kovač , * 1942).

After the death of their singer, the band broke up for good.
