The Indian Rocks are a group of cliff rocks in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . They are located in Hero Bay on the north coast of Livingston Island , east of Wood Island .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 1958 after the sealer Indian from Liverpool , who operated in the waters around the South Shetland Islands between 1820 and 1821 and brought the surviving crew members of the brig Cora , which sank off Desolation Island , back to England.
