The Indian Pentecostal Church of God (IPC) is the largest indigenous Pentecostal church in India with its headquarters in Hebron , Kerala .

Foundation and history

The movement of the Indian Pentecostal Church of God was founded in Mulakuzha in the Keralesian district of Alappuzha in 1924 by Pastor KE Abraham, who was inspired by the writings of American missionaries. In 1933 the "The South Indian Pentecostal Church of God" in Aranmula was officially registered and in 1935 it was established throughout India as "The Indian Pentecostal Church of God" (Government of India the Societies Act XXI of 1860 at Eluru on December 9,1935 with the Registration Number 9 / 1935-36).

Todays situation

According to its own information, the organization has 7,500 parishes in 25 regions or states of the world, the largest number of them in Kerala, India, where there are 4,500 Pentecostal churches of this denomination alone.

IPC founded and operates the television channel Power Vision TV , which has a reach of more than 20 million viewers.
