Industrial suburbanization

As Industriesuburbanisierung is known in the industry geography a process of suburbanization in which industrial companies their locations from the main town in the outskirts area or the vicinity of large agglomerations relocate.

Rising property and rental costs, accompanied by displacement through tertiaryisation processes , can be named as causes . The increasing need for space also plays a role in the expansion of the business, which can no longer be satisfied in densely built-up core cities.
