Industry association for massive forming
The Industrieverband Massivumformung e. V. is an industry association for companies whose production program wholly or partially includes the manufacture of forged parts including upsetting and extrusion parts and open-die forgings.
The massive forming association in Germany has 120 member companies with a turnover of 6.5 billion euros and almost 30,000 employees. The business purpose is to organize the inter-company cooperation between its members. Around 250 companies in Germany are involved in forging .
