Industry was an Irish - English pop band. It was formed in 2009 and had two number one hits in Ireland in the same year .

Band history

The band was discovered in 2009 by James Hyland, founder of Irish music television broadcaster Bubble Hits Music TV , and has been managed since then . While Donald Skehan, Morgan Deane and Michele McGrath are from Ireland, Lee Hutton is from Chesterfield , England. With the help of the Swedish music producers -Duos Holter / Eriksson and the production company Ten Productions , a total of seven songs were created, mostly written by the band members. The first single , entitled My Baby's Waiting , was released in June 2009 and reached number 1 on the Irish singles chart in the first week . The second single Burn was also a number one hit in Ireland.

The group played in July 2009 as the opening act for the Pussycat Dolls on their Ireland tour . After the release of two more singles, which could not build on the success of the previous releases, Industry broke up in 2010 and the members of the group went their separate ways.
