Information communication technology and cybersecurity center
The Information Communication Technology and Cybersecurity Center (IKT & CySihZ) was integrated into the Armed Forces Base of the Austrian Armed Forces in the Federal Ministry of Defense (BMLV) as the successor organization to the Command Support and Cyber Defense on April 1, 2019 . The IKT & CySihZ is responsible for:
- Information and communication technology in the Austrian Armed Forces
- Operation of a central data center
- Perception of the operational monitoring centers (BÜZ) based on 365/24/7
- Operation of the MilCERT of the Austrian Armed Forces
- care-taking of
- around 22,000 users at 140 locations
- around 24,000 PC workstations (stationary and mobile) with more than 300 software products
- 90 ICT services (including the electronic file "ELAK" of the department, internal and external mail systems, all ICT security systems and firewalls, etc.)
- Military geospatial services
