Information content

Information content describes a property of noise . It is present when information can be extracted from the noises. The possible disruptive effect of the noises is generally considerably increased, since greater attention is drawn to the noises.

When determining assessment levels , according to TA Lärm, an addition to the level measured is given for information content as well as for tone quality and impulse content .
