The information group for spatial planning e. V. (IfR) is a nationwide professional association for urban and spatial planners based in Dortmund . It is active as a representative of the interests of the profession externally and is active in promoting young talent. Furthermore, he moderates current issues of spatial planning, organizes specialist conferences and issues planning-related publications, including the specialist journal RaumPlanung . He also runs student competitions. The IfR works in professional working groups, networks and regional groups.

Space planning

The association publishes "RaumPlanung. Specialized journal for spatial planning and research" as a member magazine. The trade journal appears every two months in four-color print with around 76 pages each. Each issue has a thematic focus and further technical articles as well as categories such as notes, campus, publications and information from the association (IfR-internal).
