Inchiquin (also Inishquin ; Irish Inis Mhic Uí Chuinn ) is about 1.5 km long and 0.5 km wide, connected by a dam to the mainland, comparatively large among the many islands in Lough Corrib in the north of County Galway in Ireland . Early church remains, a ring fort and a cillin form the special relics.

An early Christian monastery , supposedly founded by Brendan the Navigator , and an old burial place known as “Rathmath” are among the early church remains. The foundation walls of a 7.6 x 4.7 m building, possibly a church, can be seen on the northeast tip of the island near the shore. No visible traces of the cemetery have been preserved.

On the pastureland in the south of the island there is a poorly preserved, oval, simply walled ring fort about 30 m in diameter. The landowner replaced the old dry stone wall with a modern one. The interior is used as a garden.

There was a cillin in the southeast sector of the ring fort . According to local tradition, it consisted of an area full of small stones that were removed years ago.
