Inrage was a Swedish thrash metal band from Uppsala that was founded in 2000 and split up in 2002.
history
The band was formed in 2000 after Lost Souls broke up. A few months later, Pelle Saether ( Carnal Forge , Terror 2000 ) from Studio Underground in Västerås contacted the band and recorded some pieces with them. This resulted in a promotional medium containing two songs and another song that was used for the compilation Power from the North .
In December 2000, the band returned to the Underground studio to record an album. The vocals and lead guitar part was recorded in early 2001 at Dug-Out Studios in Uppsala with Daniel Bergstrand . A few months later the band went back to Västerås to mix the album called Built to Destroy . In 2002 the album was released through Scarlet Records . In the summer of 2002 the band separated.
style
The band plays a modern version of Thrash Metal, with the vocals reminiscent of Phil Anselmo 's.
