Inscriptiones Latinae Christianae Veteres

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Inscriptiones Latinae Christianae Veteres ( ILCV for short ) are a corpus of Latin Christian inscriptions from ancient times.

The collection edited by Ernst Diehl appeared in three volumes between 1925 and 1931. They were reprinted several times because they have not been replaced by a newer compilation. Jacques Moreau and Henri-Irénée Marrou edited a fourth volume which, in addition to supplements, contains a register of the beginnings of poems and concordances with other editions and appeared in 1967.
