The Institut für Management GmbH (IfM) is a further education institute based in Salzburg .

history

The company was founded in autumn 2003 as a private training institute in Salzburg and offers part-time academic programs, practical courses on current management topics as well as individual in-house training courses for companies. The institute is Ö-Cert accredited. The institute currently employs around 40 freelance and salaried employees.

Programs

Executive MBA program: The Executive MBA in General Management university course is a part-time course with an internationally recognized degree. Participation is open to people with a university degree (at least a bachelor's level) or post-secondary education or equivalent qualification and at least 5 years of professional experience and current management responsibility or business knowledge. The Executive MBA program is accredited by the FIBAA ( Foundation for International Administration Accreditation ). This university course takes place in cooperation with the M / O / T School of Management, Organizational Development and Technology / Alpen-Adria-Universität Klagenfurt. Graduates of this course are awarded the academic degree of "Master of Business Administration" from the Alpen-Adria-Universität Klagenfurt.

Bachelor's program in business administration: A practical training course for managers and company successors is the degree in business administration leading to a bachelor's degree. The lecturers combine practical experience with economic knowledge in the context of block courses. This ensures the immediate applicability of what has been learned for the participants.

Ph.D. - Doctoral degree in “Business Economics and Management”: This degree is part-time and is held in English. It takes place in the form of block events at the IfM in Salzburg and on the campus of the cooperation partner of the Mendel University in Brno. As part of the course, which is planned to last over four years, in addition to the face-to-face seminars, exams will be completed, contributions published and the dissertation written at the end of the course.
