Institute for Social and Economic Sciences
The Institute for Social and Economic Sciences (ISW) is an Austrian institute founded in 1977 for the investigation of employee- related issues and their publication in events and publications. It is based in Linz , Volksgartenstrasse 40.
The president of the institute is (2011) Johann Kalliauer. The institute's three series of publications are:
- the magazine WISO (economic and social policy magazine),
- the WISO documents (individual examinations that appear at irregular intervals, compiled materials and daily documentation) and
- the ISW research reports (64 issues were published up to 2010)
