Integration Ministers Conference

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Conference of Ministers of Integration (IntMK) was convened after the first integration summit on the basis of the voluntary commitments made by the German federal states in 2007.

It is a regular gathering of the senators and ministers of the individual states of the Federal Republic of Germany who are responsible for the issue of integrating immigrants . Although these responsible persons also worked on the National Action Plan for Integration at the federal level, this conference was convened at the state level. It should serve to further develop the integration policy with concrete commitments and elaborations and to reflect, demonstrate and improve the range of integration policy activities of the individual countries.

As with most other specialist ministerial conferences , the chairmanship of the IntMK changes alphabetically between the countries every year. The current country of presidency has been Bremen since July 1, 2020 .
