Inter Playa del Carmen is a football club from the city of Playa del Carmen in the Mexican state of Quintana Roo . The home ground is the Unidad Deportiva Mario Villanueva Madrid .

history

The club, founded in 1999, initially played in the fourth-class Tercera División . By winning the championship in the Clausura 2003, the promotion to the third-class Segunda Division succeeded , in which Inter has been represented since then.

The two most successful seasons were the Clausura 2006 and the Apertura 2011, in which Inter was able to reach the semi-finals .
