Interactive catalog of the Münzkabinett Berlin
The Münzkabinett of the Staatliche Museen zu Berlin has been presenting the interactive catalog of the Münzkabinett (IKMK) since May 20, 2007 . There are currently (as of August 2018) 33,000 coins of the 600,000 coins recorded. All coins and medals on display are taken into account. The number of coins and medals is growing steadily. The existing publications are always expanded on a project-specific basis and in accordance with the resources available.
The time frame of the objects presented ranges from the 6th century BC to the present day. The front and back of the coins are shown and descriptions are also available. Further details relate to the date, nominal , the material quality (metal, weight, diameter), mint and literature on the object.
