Association of the video and media trade in Germany

The interest association of the video and media trade in Germany e. V. (IVD) is a professional association that claims to represent the interests of more than 2000 video and media shops.

The IVD was founded in 1983 in Düsseldorf and is based there . The main focus of its work is the service for its members, the external representation of interests in the form of lobby work as well as public relations . The organs of the association are the general assembly, the supervisory board and the executive board, which consists of Hans-Peter Lackhoff (chairman) and Jörg Weinrich.
