Interlomas
Interlomas is an Edge City in the Mexico City metropolitan area .
Interlomas is located about 18 kilometers west of the historic center of Mexico City, but belongs to the municipality of Huixquilucan in the state of Mexico . Interlomas was created in the 1950s and primarily serves as a workplace for commuters. In 2011, Interlomas had around 170,000 employees working in around 500 small buildings and 15 high-rise office buildings.
The outer city center of Interlomas is also known for the Paseo Interlomas , a shopping center that includes three large department stores, a Cinépolis - 4D cinema , an ice rink, 12 restaurants and a shopping mall with around 180 individual shops.
