The farm is located on the main road from New Cumnock ( A76 ) at the bend to the east and the confluence of the B741. The Afton Water is approximately 150 meters east. The homestead consists of different parts of the building which almost completely enclose an inner courtyard. The two-story residential building faces east to the street. The facades are plastered with Harl in the traditional style . Contrasting colored bottles frame the lattice windows . The building closes with a slate roof . On the left is a one-story outbuilding, which leads over a rounded building edge to the rear and forms a flanking of the inner courtyard. The buildings there are either one or two story.
