The specialist journal International ( International - Die Zeitschrift für internationale Politik ) is a four-monthly German-language specialist publication for international relations . Authors are scientists, politicians and publicists from home and abroad.
The magazine appears in late February, late May, late August and late November. The circulation of 5000 consists of 2500 subscribers, 1000 free distributions and free sales. According to the magazine's media data, the readership is composed as follows:
- 30 percent politicians, journalists
- 20 percent diplomats, national and international officials
- 20 percent students
- 10 percent scientists
- 20 percent others
The editorial policy is described on the website as follows: "International wants to contribute to balanced and critical information about the events and contexts of international politics and above all to disseminate information that is hardly or only one-sidedly presented in the media Their reporting does take into account different positions, provided that they can be described as progressive and democratic in the broadest sense of the word.
