International Institute of Information Technology (Bangalore)
The International Institute of Information Technology ( IIIT for short , formerly Indian Institute of Information Technology ), based in Bangalore , was founded in 1999. The aim is to train graduates in the natural sciences and technology. In February 2005, the iiit-b was awarded the status of a Deemed University .
The conception and naming of the IIITs are based on the Indian Institute of Technology .
