International Media Festival for Prevention

The International Media Festival for Prevention is part of the World Congress on Safety and Health at Work . It honors media productions that aim to improve safety and health in the workplace. Prizes are awarded in the categories “Film” and “Multimedia”. Films or multimedia applications in all forms such as web clips, web TV, mobile codes, animations, fictions, documentaries, TV spots, interactive media, or websites are permitted. Accident insurance carriers, companies and institutions that have commissioned a corresponding medium, as well as agencies and filmmakers who have produced it, can take part.

history

The International Media Festival for Prevention was held for the first time in 1990 in Hamburg under the title “International Film Festival”. For the first time in 1999, when it was held in São Paulo , multimedia contributions were also permitted. Since then the festival has been called the International Film and Multimedia Festival . In 2013 it was renamed the International Media Festival for Prevention .
