from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The International Near-Earth Asteroid Survey (INAS) was organized and coordinated by Eleanor Helin during the 1980s to add an international component to the Planet-Crossing Asteroid Survey (PCAS). INAS was the attempt to put the sky coverage of the PCAS , which used exclusively the Palomar observatory , and the discovery and recovery of Near Earth Asteroids (NEAs) on a global basis.
