Incidents at the 2019 World Championships in Tokyo were decisive . Due to the protective barrier, Iran is temporarily excluded from all competitions as well as administrative and social activities of the international association. On October 22, 2019, the temporary ban was converted into an unlimited exclusion from the competitions.
