The "International Working Group for Greenery in Viticulture" (former name) was founded in 1976 by Erich Homrighausen. The association, which was loose from 1976, was registered as an association at the constituent meeting on August 31, 1990 in Keszthely / Hungary (D). The association includes colleagues from viticulture research institutes, but also practitioners from 10 European viticulture countries. The name was changed in 2005 to "International Working Group for Soil Management and Quality Management in Viticulture" .

Task, goals

Discuss current problems in floor care and highlight future-oriented, quality-enhancing floor care methods. For this purpose, colloquia are held regularly in different areas.

The presentations were published in conference proceedings. From the XII. At the colloquium, all presentations including the PP will only be published on the homepage. In addition, publications are made in specialist journals.
